While Nicole was attending medical school at the University of Virginia, she met her current partner who was completing his business degree. She later found out that his father had recently passed after a battle with ALS. As a new physician, Nicole has seen many patients affected by ALS in various stages. She hopes to raise money to help further ALS research to one day end the suffering of those affected by ALS.
